LOL, I belong to an RV forum as well, I actually thought I was reading a post from there when I first saw this!
Unsure what you're in but, in my coach I can turn off the inverter separately as well as the charger.. I'd try turning things off one at a time and see if anything makes it stop.
My most logical thought is that the charger is actually cycling on and off and that's what you're seeing..Wayne Sagar
