Update: The fire truck that was used in the past was sold.

Wow. That thing has been a fixture for as long as I remember, and I have been since 1976 (maybe not that long using it but I remember nothing else). Sad to se that big dude gone!

The only upside to the new fire truck is the exhaust smells better if you are on the deadline. By Sunday it is pretty loaded up.

I got to ride the fire truck on Thursday and I was wondering the same thing. I asked two different people what happened to the original firetruck. I got two different answers:
1. The owners did not want it used.
2. It was sold.
I think it may be both.
