Did John Sandberg use "Tipsy Too" to test a single stage blower to be used in "Tsunami"?

Yes. And he quickly realized that that idea wasn't going to work.

Tsunami's design went from an Allison to a single-stage Merlin to a dual-stage Merlin before it ever even took flight.

There is a fair chance that Tsunami will return with a reworked, revised G series Allison.

Will, you and I know who has done recent R&D on a race Allison.

I never knew that an Allison was ever in the mix with Tsunami. Kinda makes sense given John Sandberg's experience with the P-63.

Yep, and the person with all the G model Allisons is doing his own work, and has the funds to fix the supercharger inlet issues. He's also got good reason to do so as one of his projects will need a pair of G model Allisons as well.
