Not many people think to add this one, but Conrad Huffstutler is my choice - and my choice if Bear would ever race again. Very capable young sport race pilot that already flies Rod’s warbirds (most recently the Wildcat to OSH).

Forgot to add Bill Hickle to the list of essential crew. I talked to him not long ago and I suspect if he and I were to run a 100 yard dash these days he'd win. Of course that was probably true when I was in my twenties as well.
