Maxine Andrea Carlin, a pylon judge for 39 years has flown west. I did not know her, as her obit was the local newspaper I thought I would pass this on to those that did know her.

Maxine was a wonderful person and someone I will miss seeing at the races and talking to. Not only was she a pylon judge, but she was a pretty good photographer and had many of her Reno pics published. She was one of the people who told me I should find a way to get my press credentials for Reno because she felt my work was good enough to get me out on the pylons. She passed away back in the spring, but I'm still saddened and shocked that she is gone.
