I remember that airshow when I was 15 or so. I got a personal tour of Reed Dennis's Mallard without either of us knowing he was on the board of my father's company, got the sunburn of my life chatting with the owner of a Spartan Executive while I was standing at the focus of the wing root, finally I touched the prop of Sorceress and was told by Don Beck, "Touch that again kid and you'll be polishing the whole thing". Good day and I still love all three airplanes.
