I restate my previous post! HOW IN THE WORLD can that thing not be really fast stripped of all the weight... Is it really just the wing? Pointy nose slick as hell fast looking machine that boggles my mind that it's not faster!
There is a section in here about Chuck Tucker racing his P63s starting on page 87.
Very nice all of you! to share your images here! I think the thing I love the most about having an entire server disk space available to us (not to mention unbelievable traffic capacity ) is that after all these years and tons of images posted and in the database, we've never had disk space issues! Or, since we're not on a shared server, we've never had an inside access hack from another user on the same box!
We have to renew again in a couple months. We got stuck with a really spendy auto renewal at the present host.. I'm in the process to find a new host with same connectivity (or better) with much better annual rate. We only need a lot of traffic access a couple times a year.. and during especially dire events. For example, in 2011, the official RARA site, hosted on a group server was overwhelmed with traffic, aafo.com kept on chugging despite record levels of connections.
Anyway, thanks for supporting the site.. if you can, click on the donation button... I wound up footing the bill for this year's renewal out of pocket. There's enough in the kitty to reimburse me, but not enough to do that and have enough to secure another year of dedicated server space. By dedicated, I mean aafo.com is on a separate computer (called a server) with its own hard drive or drives. SOOO much more capable and secure than being on a shared box!
Please feel free to donate a dollar or two to the slush fund to keep the site on a dedicated server!
Great stuff Will, Ken, Leo, and LED (hope I did not miss anyone). Will, I did lol at the Dread pedal car prop blur. It is a definite challenge making the shots as nice as you all did with the smoke. I cheated, and the below are from nearly smoke-free Sunday.
