The aircraft is very complete but was damaged in hard landing at Reno in 2012. Furias qualified at 467.287 that year. The aircraft has a long racing history back to 1985.     Hopefully someone will pick this up and return it to racing. We never found this birds potential out.

        They didn't do their homework... "18 cylinder R4360"?

        Its too bad he didn't sell it to a certain Sport class racer when he was interested. (Said person now has another unlimited project. ) Odds are it would be well on its way to flying by now.

            If someone really wanted to get Furias back in the sky quickly, Dusty's Sea Fury project and spares would get them there (and fund Dustys racing as well.)

              Here is hoping someone snaps this project up and brings it back to Reno. Although it looks like there is a lot of work needed. Multi-year project.
