RARA just posted this - don't believe it's been posted here.
The CEO of the Reno Air Racing Association provides an update on where the National Championship Air Races might move, and what's being planned for the final chapter of this storied event in Reno, Nevada.
Most notably Fred says they have 4-5 potential locations (already) that could accommodate all the classes, and noted that Buckeye Municipal is open to T-6, Biplane, F1, & Sport Medallion.Reno from '99 to '23

Supposedly, there are 3 different sites bidding to host the races, stating in 2025.
Can anyone confirm or quash this rumor?

The basic website setup for the event mentions F1, warbirds, and Jets ...
No mention of biplanes, t-6, or sport.
I'm assuming this is not a work of the current RARA board simply moving the Reno races elsewhere but a completely different group attempting to start their own event to replace it. Which may not be a bad thing ...Chris
