Well jeepers! I started reading that other thread thinking it would be about the Famous Flying Ford Pinto of yore.

It graced (cursed?) the skies of SoCal some years (okay, decades) back. As I recall, the project came to a bad end when the beast fatally augured into a beanfield near Oxnard.

Looks like a joke, and probably flew like a bad one.

I think I remember seeing video of it way back when.. had the climb performance of, shall we say... well.. I'm at a loss for words.. to put it simply.... it didn't seem to climb real well
