You know it John. The Hogs had so many go pro that I'm not sure if there will be any fight left. It looks like an ex-coach is too busy trying to sue us into oblivion.
I was down in your part of the world back in March, but my dad and I were in the air more than on the ground. Anyway, I will be looking forward to my TWO bottles of Rare Bear Brew in September.
If I'm not mistaken, that looks like the "Anya" Yak raced by Dave Morss at Reno '03, and I believe owned by Sean Carroll. I'm just glad to see no one was hurt.

Aww geez... For some reason, I've just been resisting installing Real player on the machine I built at the first of this year.. I guess, I'm gonna have to give in and slap it in.. Hopefully, I've got a copy of an older version... last time I installed the latest version on a computer, it was WAY too intrusive..
Any other player out there that will run Real stuff??
I ran the video clip several times and paused it at certain points. The radiator exit door had to come close to touching the runway! Then after the pilot pulls up above the tree line, it looks as though he thrusts both fists up above his head like "Yeah! I made it!"..or am I seeing things?
Nice recovery with the slow roll on the pull out. Glad he made it....that was close!
Yikes thats close. the announcer stops talking when he sees the yak almost barreling in. Damn thats lucky.
You're right, I've watched this video several times and never noticed the pause. He saw what was going on. Kudos to the pilot for making this a fun video rather than a tragedy.
Anyone know who the pilot was, and where this took place. I'd be curious what the pilot's comments were after the flight. He almost ended up like that spit in, I believe it was England a couple years back. Thankfully the Yak was only a close call.
