I've been out of touch with air racing for a few years - last time I went to the races in Reno was 1998. At that time there was a group called Rec-Aviation that put a group of people together for the box seats. Since I'm interested in going to the races again this year I tried, with no luck, to find Rec-Aviation on the internet. Anybody know what happened to them or how I can contact them?

Well, things are going to happen in rapid succession now... I'm going to do a final database backup at 2:30PM CST today. After the vBulletin team gets it - the new site should be operational "with all posts" soon thereafter. Then following a series of checks, and if all goes well, I'll post a link to the new forums here soon.

Re: Reno Air Race Seats - Rec-Aviation
Andy Schnieder (sp?) was the main man doing all the work for the group. He has backed off and is just organizing a few boxes instead of a dozen or more. If you are looking for box seats, I would suggest posting it here. Seems like there is always some available from someone.

GO TO GOOGLE- CLICK ON GROUPS- CLICK ON REC.-CLICK ON REC.AVIATION- CLICK ON REC.AVIATION.MISC- SEARCH FOR BOX SEATS.
I AM ALSO LOOKING FOR BOX SEATS. I MAY TRY TO ORGANIZE A BOX MYSELF IF I HAVE NO LUCK FIND SOME FROM SOMEONE ELSE.
