I believe that's actually 1999. But who's counting?

For a second there, I thought perhaps it was an errant "Mystery Aire" that caught fire......but I guess The Doctor would have been over in the Dago Sled pit by that point.

I think speed's probably right about the year, but I think that's from the CAF's "Tora Tora" routine, not the F-18 Wall of fire. But I could be wrong Bottom line, Strega's not burnt up!

The last time the Tora gang was there was in '97. But Strega still had the 'old' paint scheme that year. The next time Strega came to Reno was '99, the first year with the current paint job.

I would say that is 2001, possibly '02. If you look at the fwd cowling behind the prop you see "Engine by Sparrow."
