that was a production ready plane with 4 20mm connons with minor mod and race griffon 120 which was meant to have a three stage blower and dago would be left in it's wake

It has a Griff in it, too!

Has anybody ever fully tweaked a Griffon to the same extent as a Merlin? If so, how many ponies? Or, what's the potential? At 2.3 hp/ci (a 140" boosted Merlin), a Griff could be, over 5,000 hp? I'd want the contra-props!
