If you had the chance to be in Santa Rosa, California last weekend you were treated to a long list of air racing greats doing what they do best flying WARBIRDS. The Pacific Coast Air Museum had it's annual "Wings Over Wine Country" Airshow at the Sonoma county Charles M. Schultz airport.
One of the highlights of the show was seeing a Bearcat, Tiger Cat, Hellcat and Wild Cat flying in formation. The other highlight was seeing John Bagley perform in his rare P-63 "King Cobra". Other noteable air racing pilots included:
John Penny was the lead pilot in the L-39 Patriots Jet Team demonstration.
Steve Hinton flew "Spam Cam" in a Hertiage flight.
Art Vance flew his P-51 Mustang "Speed Ball Alice".
Dan Vance flew Darryl Bond's P-51 Mustang "Lady Jo"
Dennis Sanders piloted Mike Browns Sea Fury 911
Mike Brown flew his Gruman Tigercat "Bossman"
Thomas Camp piloted his Gruman "Hell Cat"
Brant Seghetti flew his P-51 Mustang "Sparky".
C. J. Stephens flew "Speed Ball Alice" on Sunday.
