He was far enough away that it was an occasional flash to me. My son said it looked like he had one blade white, could have been the old silver 3-blade tho. I could'nt go out there to look, more pressing matters. Anyone who was around Stead see it up close?

I heard a while beck that they were using the 4 blade prop. They could have changed though.

Last I read they were goin to flight test both to find out which one would give them the best run. Wouldn't disappoint at all if they throw the big paddle 3 blader back on...woohoo!

Well well well..... here we are with 7 togo!! I am pumped as usual... Any word on the bears prop yet? You lucky dogs that live out there eat me up!! I went skiing on new years and tried to see the bear but it was too cold and she and the crew were hibernating!! Can't blame them. Got cameras ready to take the trip fella's!!! Depends on where you are Section 3! I'm out in Cold Springs, north of Stead on the other side of the ridge. Kinda cool, most stuff flies over and a LOT of evening photo flights. A lot like all those years spent camping there at Stead just to be around. We ought to get together, my son and father-in-law have been nagging me for years (like, 10) to be "Section 3" instead of section 8.... We always ramp-squat in front of you guys.
