Ahhhh....the Wayfarer's Club Lady. A partnership between Dave Allender and Bob Fendler. Fendler, at this point, was running the 'other half' of the team, which was an Allison powered Unlimited Hydroplane driven by Jim McCormick, while Allender and Russ Schleeh were flying the Mustang.

Seriously, we should talk about that. There are a few "trade secrets" I keep close to the vest as far as scanning techniques and making the most out of what you got. If your collection goes back to the early days, there are surely some treasures there just waiting to be discovered.

I was researching about Miss America and came across this forum. My grandfather was Donald Singleton and I have a few pictures of him with the plane. I know your 1st post was years ago... so hopefully you get this! But here are a few images of the p 51
ok i read this some were my dats are most likelly off
but here goes...i beleve that miss A was bought from Mc Cellen afb in sacramento Ca. in 1958....thats all i remeber (i use to live a few blocks from there when i read it)
