Somehow the idea of sitting in an air conditioned room thousands of miles away may be more appealing than having to dodge some heat seeking surface to air missile some camel jockey has launched at you.

It's sort of like the difference between just talking to a hot woman at the bar and going home with her at the end of the night. OR maybe the difference between *watching* porn or being *in* porn. OR the difference between playing Madden 2005 on your PlayStation or actually getting a Super Bowl ring.

Getting shot at sucks like you would not believe, but not even being there in the war is even worse, IMHO.

Hey Randy, any chance you can get a gig with the Strike eagle demo Team as your next assignment???? That would be sweet.

I would give my left nut to be the F-15E Heritage Flight pilot -- there's probably nobody in the F-15E community who would like to do that more than I would, but that's not likely. My next Eagle assignment will likely be overseas, and I think the F-15E demo guy is from Shady J...
