His STICK fell out?

So I am reading along the new RARE letter and get to the incidents? Somebody had there stick fall out of its socket in inverted flight! that must have been one exciting few moments.
And where were our AAFO guys when that went down? didn't you see the new puckered seat in that sport?
There I was flat on my back and the sticks laying on the roof, what a story.
So who was it guys? I want to bring him a spare he can tape to the firewall.

I heard that doesn't work anyway....

I had always heard that pulling your stick out at the last minute doesn't work anyway....

so just how do you break your control stick. how much force is on that stick in a sport class.
or did the thing disassemble itself at the proper moment?
And who had the fun pilot or team? I am sure somebody is getting the razzing of his life.

As I understand it (through the grape vine) the incident occured in a vari-ez while the pilot was demonstrating (as part of PRS) that he and the plane could do certain rolling maneuvers prescribed by RARA and the stick broke while at the first series which was at 10,000 feet.
