BTW, if anyone is wondering about the speed disparities, original class spec was for an O-290, bumping up to the O-320, with a "gentleman's agreement" by the 'fast' guy's to stick with the O-290, until the rest of the class started to catch up. THAT didn't last long.
O-360's next, then the angled valve heads, were approved, so the NEW fast guy's are pumping out a lot more horses.
Great to see something OTHER then another red Pitt's going buy, (nothing against the Pitts)...
