Speed, Did your calculations also require removing the drop tank shackles and cover the gun ports? I factored those additional mods in the equation and came up with the same numbers as you did.

Still looking for the X-acto knife blades.

        Hey Markers... GOOD GOOD GOOD!!!!!!!!!!

You guys can do it!! When I quit, ironically, shortly before finding out I had the bigC, I used the gum.. It really did take the edge off. Dialtapper used it to quit the chew, and a couple folks I know who also quit smoking used it.

However you do it, it gets easier as time goes on. The first weeks are the hardest, drinking a lot of water helps, chewing on baby carrots helps also (something to eat and no weight gain)

Of course, for sticking with it, going to the doctor and having them make the "are you sitting down" phone call REALLY helps one stick with it!

Congratulations man, I'm pulling for you and Kim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          Mark-
Just a little advice, from a friend who had a hard time kicking the habit. Be more conscious of the situations that used to trigger the habit: beers, bars, sex...whatever, to prepare your psyche for the challenge.
Most importantly, don't beat yourself up if you backslide, hang in there and keep trying.
Good luck, your support group is standing bye...

Darn, I knew I was missing something..... Maybe a couple of days at the go-kart track should do it.

                  No...no, I've tried that. It's STILL slow. :-)

OK, Kevin what are your plans for the second NXT and will you have time to make any sizeable mods for Relentless for 06? I am going to have to get back with my 05 resolutions, but I know one of them will be to run down Victor so the rest of us have a chance with our photography Sorry Vic. Dave
I'll bite: One of the Chia crew said they had an NXT in the shop and that there was talk of a big geared Continental going into an NXT. Higher crank revs for more HP with lower prop RPMs.

Hey 29, as to those later resolutions, cut foam and take Viagra! I know the former...Peas

My shop SLOAir.com is working hard to complete "Lucky Mojo" the semi completed NXT kit I purchased from Texas, with Gary Mead. We are not ready to release info on the engine package we are looking at but guarantee it will be cool.

Relentless will be sporting new NXT Lycoming engine complete with ADI, additional oil cooling, and variable boost!
                        Stay tuned!

BTW if anyone is interested in a NXT kit of your own, we are hoping to complete 6 this year, two of which are already sold.

My sources say that its industrial strength surgical tubing, and that you have to wind the prop up REALLY tight to get it going...but once the RPM's stabilize....LOOK OUT!
