The nicest thing about the North American T-6/SNJ... they have a back seat!
An old friend of mine once said that to me and he was so very right!
This year at Aviation Nation, it was decided that a safety "pilot/observer" was in order due to the mixed format for the "scratch race".. This little decision (a good one in my book, not only for photographic opportunities.. it's GOOD to have a second set of eyes) offered some of us a chance to get out there in the thick of it!
I won't wast words, Al always looks good and his airplane even looks better!
Special thanks to Tom Dwelle and his great family for the chance to get this and other photos at Nellis!

PS.. I'm trying out some new monitor calibration methods.. a rather pricey piece of hardware to replace my aging eye's judgement... it all has me rather confused.. "colorspace you're in my space!" I say!!
