I did send for a copy of the 73 Annual as I am interested in 71-73 so I figure that is a good place to start ... An I picked these years for no particular reason other then my military interest's or from that era as well ..

Where would you guys recommend getting the annuals? Someone said ebay, anyplace else? Are they easy to get?

                Thanks,
                Jarrod

                  Jarrod,
Brad found them on EBAY for me for the first couple, then I found a couple more. I would just put the title in a search engine, like Google, or whatever. I'll try it and see what I find. I would not say they are easy to find, but they are available every once in a while. (After someone dies and has their cold dead fingers pried away, HAH!)

                  Never mind. Maybe next year

Re: Air Racing from the Past & Jet's...

Jarrod....the Kinnert Annuals are on eBay all the time. Just type in 'air races' on a search, and they will pop up. If you see nothing now, try again next week.

Kinnert started doing them in 1968. The first four volumes are from 1909-1967. (Volume 4 is 1946-1967). From then on, he produced one each year until 1976 (covering the '75 racing season). Reed passed away the week of Reno '76, so Dusty Carter took over and did a '76/'77 book which came out in '78.

I have heard that Dusty prepared a volume which covered the '78/79 season, but it never went to print.

Get them while you can. They really are good resources.
