Holy dear god! Will shot PROPCICLES! NOOOOOoooooo!!!!! Okay, the intent here was to get pics of all trim tabs, prop pitch, and exit door position. Well, I got some of those, but he was too high (even from the hillside) for me to get good shots of trim tab positions and stuff like that.
To make up for the propcicles, we have this... 1/15 sec at 700mm hand held...
Military arrivals.

Shooting Propcicles for science... When a pic says 1000 words. There are so many things one can see from well shot pics that can improve the performance of an aircraft,or identify a serious issue. After shooting Dusty's Yak in 2016 and those pics revealing stuff that he had no idea was happening, we got to talking and since I have always tried to shoot pics of hsi plane knowing that he will put them to good use. This year was no different, only he was crew chief for Sam Davis's Yak "Miss Trinidad" There were lots of unknowns on Miss T since it was fresh out of a very long restoration and rebuild that followed a crash years ago. These shots speak volumes.
When I processed this shot, I noticed that the details got a little lost, so I thought I'd try processing it in black and white to see if I could pull more details out.
As you can see, details that were lost in reflection, became visible. Not to self, process stuff like this in both color and b/w.
