I've had several conversation with Rob Lauer over the last year or so. This really smells of, at a minimum, cart before the horse.. and worse, a scam. Far as I'm aware, they have zero asphalt, zero pylons, zero racecourse, etc. And to think they can have all this in place in 90 days....not to mention all the FAA Waiver requirements, is just ridiculous. Yes, that was kinda where I was going with my comment. I've love to see it happen, but I highly doubt its going to happen as they have no infrastructure to make it happen. Also, I agree on the scabbed images and videos. I don't think I'll be going as I think I'm racing the boat that weekend.

There is no possible way they will get this done this year, if ever. I did see that the state, county, and FAA have approved their permits to build the airport over the past few weeks. That's further down the road than I thought they'd get.Comment
