Totally Off Topic Back in the USA!

I've been pretty busy the last seven days... it was really tough but someone had to do it....!

It was a little tough spending time and money in Mexico with all the stuff going on here but SJD is one of the best places to lay back and relax that I've ever been!

Average water temp is 72 deg.... I've never been in the ocean when it actually felt warmer than the air at times of the day!

Loved it... back to work now...

It's a time share that BeerNazi has.... part of Trend West/WorldMark Name is Coral Baja, San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico.

I hardly went 5 mins without a cervesa in my hand... drank several bottles of Tequla... kept my blood alcohol content to a sufficient level that I ate everything and never got sick... Unfortunately, BN didn't drink as much and got deathly ill for our last day...

Admittedly, I'm sort of a neophyte when it comes to travel outside the US... even in the US, unless it's to an airshow... but this was the best place I've ever spent a week in... The surf was Amazing!

I want to go back... SOON!

We rented a house in San Jose in Feb and it was awesome. Never had so much as bad burp the whole time.
What an awesome place. I'd go back every year if I could.
Did you meet Viktor at Habanero's and learn some new card tricks??

Did you get to do any Bill fish fishing while you were there? I have allways wanted to go there and do that i have visited mexico once but was while i was on a cruise so i did not have the time to do it. glad you had a great time looks like would be a nice place to toss a few back!

We spent two weeks in San Jose in February, and they dragged us out kicking and screaming. What a great place.
We had a house with a pool, since dh did a house reno for a guy who has a place there, a car, cheap beer and tequila. What more could you want?

Did you meet Viktor at Habanero's and learn some new card tricks??

I don't hold anything "off" for anyone who does like tot hunt or fish, it just was not a part of my upbringing... being raised by a "Jersey" boy.....

Fishing for me as a young lad was judging the curve of the local ladies leggers within their leggins....

I don't know but from the south its sometimes rape, torture, and execution. But its OK because were the evil americans who are inhumane towards the illegals that come here from the south I will now crawl back into my hole.

Nothing gets in the way of my ten days in Reno. Luckily I had enough OT that I could go to Mexico.

I don't really consider going to Reno a vacation. I think its more of something you do because you have too, to help feed your addiction. It's also like a religion, so if air racing were a real religion, Reno would be its Mecca.

Too funny - when I was headed for Mexico and saying how long it had been since we took a vacation a co-worker said "don't you go on vacation every September? Didn't you quit your job a couple of years ago to go?" and I said "no, that's the Air Races - we have to go there!!"
