    Re: Thunder Mustang(s) and PRS

    Bill,

Did the four Thunder Mustangs get in the air at the same time for any formation photo work? I saw a pic or two here of three in formation, missing LIVE BAIT.

Was any air to air photography or video done?

    Thanks,

    Lowell

I'm not Bill but I think I can answer... No. All four TM's didn't make it in the air at the same time. Maintenance problems, time, WX at the home station for some, and having no photo ship all worked against us in getting all four in the air at the same time for a little air-to-air.

Well the photo ship part isn't quite accurate.

          How about this....

Due to a variety of reasons, we were only able to get three in the air at the same time. Live Bait was down with fuel flow issues.

Here are some photos (view as original):

Are there any photos of formations, or just shots with three Thunder Mustangs in the same piece of sky at the same time?

Bingo on number two. But when 2/3 of the flight has no formation time.... we'll call it a formation.
