I'm of the opinion that it is a crew chiefs job to make that plane go fast. Whatever that takes is what it takes. Lets face it, people don't air race for money, they race for bragging rights. I for one don't want everybody to go the same speed year, after year, after year. It's boring. I want to see the envelope pushed. If that means getting away with something than so be it.
