don't take it so seriously scepter, all in fun. mr. button has my respect and it semms as though he can more than handle his share of ribbing. besides, it wasn't directed at anyone but at the engine itself.

Just a short note from the spouse of Sparrow

Maybe working 7 days a week and 10 to 12 hours each day isn't enough for you people. Maybe I should just go out and buy him a bed so that he can sleep down there. I'm sure that he would trade your 40 hour week with his 80.

For us it is just nice to have him home once in a while.

Or maybe you would like to trade my 60 hours there working along side of him so all YOU can sit back and say it just isn't enough. Sorry but flip comments such as this one get my hair up. Nothing seems to be enough to satisfy you people.

I agree with my mother GREATLY with what she has said. While some of you pencil pushers get to go home and spend time with your families, my father is working hard to make sure that everything is safe and secure for this years racing season. I dont care what you people think of me but i know one thing for sure, i am so proud of my dad for putting so much effort into his dream life and making sure that everyone is happy.

I do not for one second think that ANYONE here was flaming Sparrow, or the work he puts into his work.
I do know that we all love the airplanes, his engines go into. Please dont think that we dont apreciate the hard work he does. We may do some ribbing from time to time. But it is all in good fun and I did not see any ribbing that was directed to Sparrow in this thread.
I do know that Sparrow and a couple of others that post in here have errm... ruffled a few feathers (sorry), but I didnt see anything here to suggest this was ment in such a way.

I think I can speak for everyone in the game... WE'RE ALL PULLIN FOR YOU MORE THAN YOU KNOW!!!!

With sleep so scarce, it's gotta be hard to take time to read here but I do think that you guys took it wrong. Mike's REALLY appreciated, we're pulling HARD praying it all comes together for him and the guys who he's doin all the work for.

I'd bet that if it were possible in any way shape or form, any of the guys here would take time and go help.. again, if it were possible.

Trouble is, none of us know a merlin finger from a chicken finger and even if we did, we dont' live anywhere near close enough.

Thinking back, I can't remember a year when one single engine builder had such a stake at Reno.. how many engines are we talkin'?? Two for Tiger, one for Button, one (two?) for Danny.... who'd I miss??

That's a LOT of iron pushed down the sleeve!

We're behind you Family Sparrow... even if it gets missed in the mouth to finger translation!
