Hello , everybody -
In another post, I offered to host a gathering of AAFO members/photographers who would like to compare notes and learn from some of the more experienced shooters. I'm still up for hosting this event, so I'll need some feedback from all potential attendees regarding the best time and date.
My house is only about five minutes from the ramp, so we can be very flexible in this regard. I don't know when the other "must attend" events (Parker, Warlock, Bear cave, etc.) are scheduled, so I'll need your input on that. Any date/time from Wednesday thru Saturday eve. looks good to me, so please reply to this message with your preferred date/time. I'll use the feedback to come up with a time that works best for as many people as possible.
I'mthinking the menu will consist of whatever can be cooked on a barbque or stored in an ice chest. If you have any special needs, (vegan, only drink wine spritzers...) let me know. I'll work on the food and drink angle after I know how many will be attending.
I'll also have internet access, CD and DVD writing capabilities available for those who might want to back up their data or check e-mail and don't have a computer with them, plus some imaging editing software if Victor wants to put on a seminar. If anyone has any other ideas for this event, let me know.
Mike A.
