Hello All ...

Anyone have a picture of Race #20 a Sea Fury named Cottonmouth that was at Reno in 1991 ? I believe it was pretty much all pollished bare metal ..

If memory serves me correct, this was the first 'warbird' Sea Fury to be upgraded with the R-3350. It came out about the same time that Pardue's Fury and Sky Fury/Southern Cross did.

Technically, Blind Man's Bluff was the first...but Cottonmouth was the first of the 'civil' ones that followed.

"poor" Freddy, he was completely at the "mercy" of the AC owner last year. He HAD to pay for the ride or it was a no go.

I only hope the owner had SO much fun that Freddy gets to come back. He really is the epitomy of a "new racer". A guy with a LOT of time, a LOT of skill, a LOT of desire and not a lot of bux...

Oh yea, and ask to look at his "jump photos" if you ever get to know him!
