Well, Jay (my brother) said once again 'the best Reno ever' (as they all are) is starting to look a bit less stellar as qualifying progresses, an unfortunate Reno pattern.
Rare Bear aborted another takeoff. It is back in the tiedown area for runups.
Dago called the clock and maydayed trailing smoke before a time was put in. Not sure how bad it is at this point. Supposedly they have a spare if needed? Is there time?
Strega did not go up.
Cloud Dancer did not go up either, is getting attention to the pointy end, with cowlings and panels off.
So three of the top four prospects are still without a time with less than 24 hours left in qualifying. There is another session this afternoon from 2:50 to 4:20, and a final session from 10:30 to 11:30 Wednesday AM. Lets hope that they all get the gremlins (big and small) worked out by then. Hopefully Strega and Cloud Dancer will go up this afternoon.

Czechmate around 443, probably just below Dread. Spirit of Texas around 433.
