I have some shots of a three ship. I have not looked at them yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Tremendous!

They reminded me of one early morning in '96 at the races when we pulled the first Thunder Mustang out of John's hangar and put her out there for some sunrise photos, some with Crusader and Strega in the background.

N151TM hadn't flown yet. We had just painted her green a few days previous up in Nampa, then trailered her down with wing detached. Dave Morss would make the first flight on Sunday, November 17th that year.

I'll bet Reno will have 8 or 10 next year. Maybe a new racing class someday-replica warbirds?

We try not to link ourselves to the competion to much, but in this case I think the motto fits both for their bow and our arrow.

Was that picture taken at Reno ?

Are they all Thunder Mustangs ? (I presume so)

Was it only John who raced or attempted to qualify this year in a Thunder Mustang ?

All the pictures were taken at Reno and all are Thunder Mustangs. John was the only one who raced. Next year there may be another, hopefully more, that race.
