  • How 'bout 100 races for each

Gary Hubler and Rhino now have raced 100 races each in their respective careers. Gary did an awesome job smoking the competition on Sunday. It is great to have Gary with the Rhino birds.

Oh come on. Jimmy passed that mark this year too, though I don't see anyone saying anything about it. It is now at 103 races started. 108 races entered.

You are so right Ryan,I'm 74 & it seems I've been watching JL race since I was a kid, in fact I did see Galloping Ghost race as a kid in Cleveland. He did a great job getting in the Gold on Sunday.

Don't worry, Ryan....we're not leaving Grandpa Leeward out. In fact, I believe he is the oldest (from a standpoint of longest tenure) active pilot in the Unlimited Class. If he hadn't taken time off from '89 to '95 the race total would have been a lot higher.

Help me remember here... I don't think Rhino has had a year off since his Rookie Silver win in 1988. But I am going off what I heard this year... Maybe Karen Morse may know, as she told me about it earlier this calendar year.
