    Chris...
To be fair, I seem to recall reading some interviews contained seemingly detached and objective comparisons of Dago, Strega, and Voodoo. The conclusion was that all 3 are so close (this was when Voodoo had the turtledeck) that any one could win a heads-up race on any given day given equivalent powerplants, BUT that Strega had a few very slight advantages. I don't remember the details, but IIRC she's a tick lighter than the others for one. Not sure if that's still true now that Voodoo has had her wings de-bondo'd and reworked, and Dago has changed a tad since then too. But overall it sounded to me like the differences were so slight that an unfavorable gust of wind on any given turn in the course could cancel any theoretical "advantage" of one over the other.

Ya know it is really becoming more and more disappointing. It cost me a couple thousand to be at Reno and I invested over ten thousand in new equipment and less than 1% of the people looking even bother to make a comment on the images posted here.

How many times do you want/need to be complimented, Vic? I think everyone on this site has marveled at your images. Truly amazing stuff.

What is it that you want?

            Victor,

Could it be that some of us are speechless?

            Or can not find words???

Keep up the good work. I follow your stuff on Pbase as well.

Thanks again for all of your hard work.

                Victor,

I usually just lurk on this site and stay out of the way. You have shamed me into doing the right thing. A "big Thankyou" For spending your time and money on producing the most amazing photos of the highest quality I have ever seen. You make the races come alive with your pictures. Please don't feel unappreciated, I know everyone that sees your pictures feels the same. Again, Thanks.

Well I always appreciate you sharing your artwork with us, even if I don't always comment. I check your Pbase account frequently.
                    Nice meeting you in Reno.

DITTO in caps. Many of us are viewers, seldom posters. i take pictures and the only thanks i get is " is that dot on the left Thunder Mustang or September Pops?" Seriously, just look at number of people who view (every one) of you posts. we ALWAYS know there are great photos attached. (at a nickle a peek you would be a rich man.)

                        Victor,

I think someone earlier got it right. I think most of us amateur photogs. are absolutlely blown away by your work. When I see your pictures, my thought is "how can I ever get even close to taking shots like those"

Keep up the great work, please

                          Victor,
I'm gonna add a great big "DITTO" to the others. Your stuff has impressed me. I'm afraid that even if I invested in alien eqipment, I still wouldn't be able to produce the kind of photos you do. Alas, I'll stick to be an amateur and let you pros post up some work for me to admire. I've linked to your posts and others sites on my blog before also, and I've heard some of my friends say they'll be contacting you when they start remodeling their dens. You'll see something from me soon too!

                            Victor,

A little inside information for you, aviation photography is also a passion of mine, however, every Sept I take on the racing crew chief role. This really limits my pic taking time. CC is not a paid position, in fact I also spend a couple of thousand bucks, and deplete 6 days of vacation. However, I truly enjoy working on the a/c, seeing my extended reno air racing family and I even don't mind spending 10 days under the scrutiny of professional media, photographers, and race fans. One of your photos led us to fix a dragging gear door, which in turn helped us to go 219 mph and I am truly grateful. Even racers don't get thanked enough for bringing thier pricey equipment, thrashing to get it to work and putting on a show for you to document. I haven't seen one post to say thank you to the volunteers, who really make this an event.

Victor, you really did step it up this year, even better than June at PRS. The stuff from the pylons has great DOF, with the entire plane sharp, and more than enough prop blur. Last years stuff was good, but this years stuff is a step above.
