A few images from my first visit to the National Championship Air Races at Reno, I’m hooked.

If anyone thinks that the Spitfires taking off at Legends is the most spectacular thing in historic aviation, think again!

These are from a very cold and windy Friday and a warm and sunny Saturday. The Finals on Sunday will follow in a bit.

A very big thank you to all of the Media Team at RARA who treated us like Kings and all the guys I met on the pylons for making this such a special event. In the words of the governor of California “I’ll be back!”

Nick - Thanks for posting so many pics. I, too, really like the Super Corsair shot. The grey sky really works as a background for this plane & I like the little bit of sun highlighting the cowl.
