People at the Races

After coming home from Reno with a few thousand pics in the bag
there is the same question every year. Which pics are appropiate
to start with. One year we took the Unlimiteds, another year those
from Formula One ...

This year is different. Reno is not "only" the place to see fast planes
turn left, but the place to meet very special people. So this year
pics of real human beings (o.k. might be an alien in between) are
our opener. Take a look. You might know somebody. Maybe it´s you ...

In the attached example you see Fred on an important mission.

What is the triangular shaped patch with the P-51 on it ? I am betting someone here knows by looking ...

i don't know what the significance of the insignia is to jan but that isn't a p-51, it's either a mig-1 or 3

The patch on the back of the fellow's vest in the picture has a Mustang on it ...... It is probably a Reno Race Patch and I was currious as to which year if so ...

Nice shots Jan. I admire those that take the time to capture the real behind the scenes elements of Reno. The faces often say so much.
