Hav'nt seen a 24 hour a day thrash in years. To see these two teams working so hard to compete makes me think the "glory" days of unlimited air racing are not over.
I wish them all the luck in the world!

A gold with Dago, Strega, Bear, Sept. Fury, Merlins Magic, etc would be a sight to behold!

What happened to Precious Metal? Sandbagging? Feeling it out? Scoop please!

Precious Metal qualified (again) today. The time was 383 today. Yesterday was 381. Today he did 3 laps, he qualified on one lap, cut 2 pylons on the other laps. But he chocks that up to good experience, (which he needs anyway). The plane is performing well. The crew has been extremely busy the past few days making sure its ready to fly. tomorrow Ron's race is at 1145. By the looks of it, God williing, he will problably move up. He and his crew are anxious to race......
