  • Miramar by Jeffrey Archer

Jeff was breaking in his new camera under some much less than perfect weather conditions. He did an excellent job of covering the action.

          Nice pics Jeffrey!!!!!!!!!!

What's the story with the digital camo on the F-18?

Gotta be tuff to apply that scheme!

Great job, there are more than a few adults who can shoot this good.

That digital camo wouldn't be all that hard to do.....time consuming and use a LOT of masking tape! I spent 5 years in Corrosion Control before I retired from the Navy.....painted plenty of bugs. It's all prep work, shooting paint ain't nuthin.

From what I've seen of Naval Aircraft, after a cruise thats about what they look like anyway - just softer edges to the camo.

                        Victor,

Jeffrey's a "sweet" kid, he wins friends whenever he is exposed to the opportunity.

I consider myself lucky to get to know him now, when he's an "innocent" kid still with wide open young eyes.

I hope to still know him years from now when I'm a REALLY old fart and he's carrying the torch for all of us into the future photographing airplanes we can only dream of today!

That he's shootin as well as he is today is simply amazing!

He's got the gift, and he's only a KID!

You're one lucky dad and we're all lucky to be here able to watch his growth into a man and a shooter, likely, beyond anyone before him!

                          Mr Wayne ... Thank you!

I am so far behind with my Reno work I kinda closed my Reno galleries for the moment...
I am working on Jeff's Reno 2006 gallery right now and should have it finished in a day or two. He loves aviation and his ability to get "the" shot is amazing, he also see's things that I don't or forget to look at. I hope Reno will be around long enough for me to see him out on the course. At Reno Jeff used a Sigma 50-500 and he found it very heavy and I switched him back to a Canon 100-400 for Miramar. Miramar was fun but the weather was not although we did manage to get a fun day of shooting in.
If all goes as planned Jeff will be shooting with me at Aviation Nation, Nellis AFB next month.
