Randy & Brad,
I had the wonderful priviledge of meeting your dad, Bruce, over at the Museum of Flying at Boeing Field yesterday. He is quite a gentleman and speaks very highly of each of you. I know I haven't met either of you personally other than on this forum, but I thought I would share the good that comes from participating on this forum. Randy-- best wishes across "The Pond" at your new assignment. Good Hunting! Have fun!
For those of you who haven't been to the Boeing Museum facility....GO!!! Having lived in the Washington D.C. area and been to the Smithsonian & the Garber Facility which is now relocated to the Dulles facility, I can say with authority that the Museum of Flight at Boeing Field outside of Seattle is one of the finest Museums you will ever see. Very rare aircraft (F2G Corsair in NATC markings & FW-190D-13 "longnose", Gee Bee "Z", etc.) are housed there. The museum was not crowded at all & for kids....it's right on an operational airport so the overall aviation educational experience is awesome. My 2yr old son had a blast. (Daddy did too!)
