    Re: Haskins

Hi all, the Flugwerk FW-190's are being given Serial numbers from the Focke Wulf production series of FW-190 A's, they also apparently have genuine FW-190 tail wheel assemblies.
On the Powerplant side, they are using the Russian Ash 82 as this is a direct copy of the BMW 801. true, they are not genuine Focke Wulfs. but there is one flying at least, and someone has also orderd a D-9 version that will have and Allison powerplant. That motor has been built at Allison Competition Engines with a unique Long nose case that has been designed to allow the Annular radiators to be fitted

Are you going to spend some time in Europe? We might see you at Duxford next summer then?

Cascade Warbirds, Squadron 2, of the EAA meets at the MoF at Boeing Field on the second Saturday of the month from October through March. One of the agenda items is always "Know your Warbird" with slides and photos. The public is welcome, and depending on weather, the members fly in. They have been known to give rides during special events. CWB will also be hosting the B-17 Aluminum Overcast the end of May/first of June. Those rides are for sale.
CWB has also had the pleasure to honor aviators with a ceremony to scatter ashes, complete with "missing man" fly-by. Check out our website: www.cascadewarbirds.org

I will be stationed at Lakenheath for about the next 3 years. I can't say where I'll be next summer, but suffice to say that if I'm not deployed somewhere I will definitely be at Duxford.

That's probably Howard in the Wildcat.

The Tigercat is due to depart soon for a new owner in the US, so that formation won't be seen over Duxford again.

Yeah...but one of the people who will be flying that Tigercat once it is over here is C. A. Lyford III. And THAT is tantalyzing.
