Someone recently mentioned an article on Merlin issues. Where was it and what did it say?

Everyone here knows that I advocate the incorporation of modern technolgy into the all aircraft engines, including Merlins. This is not a thread to start that very un-PC topic again. After the second year of roundie-only-gold, I'd like to hear why every Gold and some Silver engines from 3 separate builders failed and what's being done for next year.

No...this was post-Reno coverage. I actually deleted all my copies once I submitted it. But I've had a couple other people ask me for it, so I'll try to scan it and send it your way.
