New things at Pima Air Museum.
Parts of a PBY
assembling a B-36
Yes, that's the B-36 that was rudely stolen from Fort Worth after years of volunteer labor saved it from destruction. Not "stolen" by Pima, but by a very unfeeling decision on the part of some gummint pencil-pushers (the government still owns the plane) who decided on a whim to take it away from all the people in Fort Worth who had worked so hard on it assuming that it would stay there.
sorry- that decision is sore spot for a lot of Texas warbird enthusiasts. <sarcasm on>
Glad to see it "indoors and better protected" since IIRC that was one of the "justifications" for sending it to Pima.

Feel you pain, 440. I had hoped to get back "home" to Fort Worth someday to see it.
Likewise, if you want to see "our" (Washington's) battleship you'll have to go where the gubment took it. To Hawaii. Like I'll ever get there on my County pay. Guess I missed seeing that one, too.
