Does anyone know where I can find a link to the description of a Merlin Racing Engine and what it goes through as it is racing around the course, I have seen this paragaph somewhere but cannot find it again. It describes how fast the engine is turning, what it is comsuming, how far the a/c goes, I beleive in a one second interval. I thought it was from Rolls Royce, I visited their website but cannot find it anywhere, if anyone has an idea where it is I would appreciate it, thanks.

We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

Thanks alot for both of those links, I had to show those to some guys that were talking about how much a Drag racing engine went through in the 5 odd seconds it runs, not that I have anything againist Drag racing, its awsome but just had to put my .02 in for Air Racing.

TOP FUEL 8 grand of ponies @ 4.5 sec reality check
4.5 sec under load
7600 revs =s
125/sec
=s
4.5x125
=s ~ 600 rotations
./. by 2
=s
300 actual power strokes getting to the beams
(66 revs/sec)
obviously they do the deal..... ie. mid 4s @ 330 klicks
never been good a math... do the nmbers look rght?
