This takes me back to flying Engineer on the 1011 at TWA. We had a lot of B-47 and F-105 guys it seemed.
The stories were all great, rolling the bomber, etc; but the tremendous speed of the 105 always stuck in my memory. I guess 850 exiting targets was normal!
A guy that flew FO for my Dad was the pilot on the 105 that carried some record ordinance load. That pic (bottom 3/4 view with a big bunch of bombs hanging) and one of George Andre in his SR space suit hang on the family library wall, so it can't all be off topic!
