Wayne: I lost my mother last year on Dec. 19th, so I appreciate what you're going through. My thoughts, prayers and good karma are coming your way! Peashooter
My mother was a "tough old bird" extremely independent, pretty much built her own house after she retired... She would NOT have done well being a "sick old lady".
I guess the best way to look at it is, she was not sick much at all in her life, nor was she sick for a long time before she passed. It was sudden, quick and from what the doctors said, painless.
She lived 87 years to its fullest, left four healthy kids no debts and even thought ahead to prepay her way after she left.
A long life, though shorter than what I think she would have wanted, with an extremely quick and clean exit...
It's exactly what she wanted.

If you'all don't mind, I'd like to bury this thread now.... My sister is the one who really needs the support as she lived near my mom and was very close to her.
Thank you all, again, very much for your kind thoughts...
