We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.
Wayne's link to the thread covering this topic earlier this year has some really TERRIFIC schemes that would transform Steadfast into a stunning racer. Think colorful!!!! Simple is, well, simple. Maslins Yak looked beautiful in its sudo Super Corsair (Bob Odegaard) paint scheme. Just please, oh please, do not follow the example of September Pops. Reminds me of that old commercial, This is your airplane on drugs! Any questions? One UGLY racer on the ramp is already too many.
Dave
Paintball,
Why do you always harp on Brown and his airplanes? What's the history here? A lot of people like it, and as I understand it, he honors his father with the stork and name.

I certainly don't have any history with Mr. Brown but I must concur with Dave, September Pops is just down right unnattractive. Then again, I didn't find the previous metallic blue/yellow scheme all that great either. Nor do I care for September Fury, though it is not nearly as bad as the current Pops. Suffice to say that Mr. Brown's and my tastes are different. To each his own.
There have been many that don't follow my taste over the years. I figure "it's their airplane". If the owner wants it purple with pink polka dots and yellow trim (there's an idea Will) or if the sponser wants something "a little different", i.e. Sparky and Jelly Belly, power to them!

DT... I can't find the thread that had all the Victor paint schemes in it either.. but this one has some...
Thanks Wayne, you the man!
There's allot of ideas there, thanks to all who took the time.
It would be safe to say we haven't really found the right "look" yet. It's one of those "I don't know what it is but I'll know it when I see it." As you know it's big job that you have to get right the first time.
I think Will said it best with " I'm a better copier than creator!" So if anyone would like to post more ideas please do.
Why does it always have to be something between Mr. Brown and I. I have every right to voice my opinion regarding my particular taste in things. That is why I spent twenty years defending this country. I respect Mr. Brown for honoring his father and his legacy as a pilot and a man. If I feel a particular paint scheme detracts from the overall look of something, I will comment on whether I like or dislike it. Stop trying so hard to stir the pot. There is NO AGENDA with my comments , except to say I think the scheme is terrible looking. Frankly, I just do not get what the design is suppose to represent. Perhaps some giant bird. I simply do not get it!
This forum is about the ability to voice ones opinions, but unfortuneately some people would rather discard those opinions they do not agree with. In stead they chose to attack them or try to dicredit the author from which they came from. Perhaps there are many people who actually like the current paint scheme on September Pops, but there are also just as many people who do not. Get over it and move along.

Well said Dave.BTW I don't like sept.pops paint job either. For that matter I don't like dago red's or sept.furys or rare bear's. Strega and cloud dancer and dreadnought are my favorites as far as paint jobs are concerned.
Okay, I'll just throw this in to play devil's advocate......you guys may not like the paint jobs on certain planes...but I'd be willing to bet that the OWNERS of the planes DO.
If I wanted to show up with my Mustang painted hot pink with neon green, electric blue, and baby-s**t brown trim, there isn't a whole lot you can do about it.
Mike B. obviously likes what he has, whether you like it or not.
Sounds like an early "Voodoo" paint job...
Ya gotta admit the wilder the paint the more it's remembered.
How about Clay Lacy's purple?
Miss Suzy Q?
There's a few of the military schemes I think are downright ugly, but obviously the owner did'nt.
I will say one think about Mr. Browns planes, however. Whether you like the colors or not, I challenge you to find many out there as well kept and prepared.
"When you get your own ______ you can paint it any bloody color you like"

Someone needs to photoshop that! LMAO
I didn't even know you had a Mustang Bro OBR
