Also in 85 Skip was running hard and low in Stilleto on his quali run late in the day, when he got caught in the turbulence of the Bear which was ahead of him but had pulled up. Coming around 8 he got it almost upside down, but corrected and pulled thru to finish his run. It looked SCARY, one of many tight moments by racers that year.
There was quite a conversation between Skip and Lyle as I recall...
