Movie Forever Young B-25 scene?

Just curious if anyone was around when they landed the B-25 at Point Arena in Northern Ca. I've heard Steve Hinton was doing the flying. I'm curious about the landing strip? Did they jse landing mat, or grade an area or what? Thanks
