Did you try turning your headlights on? Opening your eyes? Those usually improve visibility.....

Take a look at the Cal Trans web cam at Kingvale........looks like a white out. Not good conditions for Air Racing. Sure glad I don't live in the Sierra's where I was raised........BRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

We've had a pretty mild winter so far. We had a load being sent out over the 'hill' last week with a truck driver that had never put on chains before. At first I thought it was funny, but then I felt the guys pain, I remembered the first time I had to chain up my rig. No fun at all.

Is it September yet?

Came back from Idaho yesterday-last night. 18 hours and the last 600 miles was in heavy, blowing snow. This morning (after 2 hours sleep) we came back thru Stead on the way to work and the wind had it to almost white-out conditions, and the sun was out!
At least we're getting water.

We deliver gas to 4 stations up the hill on 80.
Always interested in what our drivers will face.
